Angelina to quit making movies

Marie Claire Celebrity: Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie has hinted that she may give up her career to spend more time with her children – and her grandchildren!

In an interview with the BBC, the 33-year-old actress admits that, with six children now at home, her future does not involve a lot of movie making.

'I don't plan to keep acting very long. I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day,' she said.

The Changeling star said she wanted to spend more time with her family to help raise them properly with her partner Brad Pitt.

'I have a lot of children. I have a big responsibility to make sure that they're growing right and that they have got us there for them,' she added.

Angelina says she plans to work for a few months in February and then take a year off before considering any more roles.

She says, 'I won't work again probably for another year. So maybe it'll be once a year, then maybe it'll be once every three years.'

The actress also admits that she does not plan to 'be a celebrity' for the rest of her life.

'I'm not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity and be a successful actress forever,' she says.

'It's great but everything comes in seasons. Hopefully I won't be needing to do that later in my life.'
