Lindsay Lohan: bisexual, not lesbian

Marie Claire News: Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she is 'very much in love' with Samantha Ronson – and that she considers herself bisexual, rather than a lesbian.

Lohan opened up about her love life in a recent interview, admitting that DJ Samantha has helped keep her grounded and out of the party-hard lifestyle.

She told US Harper's Bazaar: 'She's a wonderful person and I love her very much.

'I'm a different person now, I'm happy. '

Before she met Ronson, Lindsay had a spell in rehab, entering treatment centers at Cirque Lodge and Promises for DUI and possession of drugs, and admitted she felt lonely. She explained: 'I was going to clubs all the time and it was not okay. I was so alone.'

But the 22-year-old said of her experience: 'I did it to myself and I have to deal with the consequences. I'm thankful for what I can take out of it. Now I feel clear.'

Lindsay and Samantha have resisted publicly putting a label on their relationship, but when asked directly by the magazine, Lindsay denied being a lesbian. When quizzed whether she is bisexual, she replied: 'Maybe. Yeah.'

And, more mysteriously, when asked if we might hear the sound of wedding bells in the future, Lohan said: 'Eventually', but whether that will be with a man or a woman, she said: 'I don’t know'.

I do not think lindsay should date samantha nor vice versa. Lindsay is a wonderful girl so is samantha so they should both date their opposite sex. This does not look good in the site of the lord. What will they tell their cousins, neices or nephews when they are older?. This is not right

Scorpion if you are truly a religious then you will know it is not up to you to pass judgement on any individual. 'He without sin shall cast the first stone.' What's not right is that there are still people in this world who are ignorant. Scorpion I think you should read something by Judith Butler and then you will realise that there is no longer such a thing as the 'opposite sex'. We no longer live in a world with gender binaries..please enlighten yourself!

Your spelling is not right and hopefully the Lord won't judge you for that! Hopefully their cousins, nieces and nephews can think for themselves and won't be too bothered as long as their aunt is happy.

I do not think scorpion should make judgments about celebrities s/he doesn't know, or assume that "wonderful" people should only date the opposite sex. Scorpion probably is not a wonderful person, so s/he can't just accept love when s/he sees it. That judgmental attitude does not look good in the "site" (by the way, the proper word is "sight") of the lord. What will scorpion tell her cousins, nieces, or nephews when they get older and ask why s/he was so insistently homophobic? This is not right.

shut up! love is love. it doesn't matter if you love a man or woman. at the end of the day all that matters is that both people in the relationship are happy. who cares what "god" apparently says how to live your life because quite frankly my friend he didn't write the bible but men that believed that god talked to them did, who would be (in this day and age anyways) classed as schizophrenics.

maybe we should put gays back into mental institutes and cure them with electric shock treatment so they can be normal... like YOU?!?

Please, they're both adults, which is about all we should know or care to know. Are they "wonderful girls"? Who's to say? Spend more time focusing on your own life (and grammar) and less on so-called celebrities. I think that is the more righteous path.

Scorpion, where is the site of the Lord? Are you saying that this does not look good in Palenstine? That's where the Lord is from so I'm assuming that's where he was buried, therefore making it the site of the Lord. Now, if you meant the "sight" of the Lord, I'm just wondering how you know what Jesus sees. Are you in direct contact with him? Do you honestly believe that you have a special connection to God that allows you to judge others for doing what is best for their own happiness. Because if that is what you believe, I can assure you you are wrong. Why do people like you focus on Leviticus and ignore the part that Jesus actually preached, like the Beatitudes. Or how about this one, one of my personal faves, "Judge not the ye shall not be judged."

Except... it makes no sense. "I do not think lindsay should date samantha nor vice versa." Nor vice versa? How would it not be vice versa? You can't date someone without him or her dating you. And it's sight of the Lord. Not site. Unless of course your Lord has a website I don't know about? And how does the Lord feel about your refusal to use a capital letter? Are you trying to insult the Lord? I suppose when they get older they can tell their cousins, nieces, and nephews that: they're gay; they're dating; they're bisexual; they're engaged; they're married; or they're in love. They could always say "it's none of your business," which is, of course, what someone should have said to you a long time ago.

Dear Scorpion, where is the "site of the lord"? I've been looking for it, along with Monty Python, and we can't find it. As for what they can tell their neices, nephews when they are older, they can tell them they loved and were loved by a person of the same sex, a child of the same God you profess to worship. And it was good.

The Lord is a loving Lord. The Lord I know of embraces everyone in love. It would be helpful if we could all follow his directions: Love one another. If God has made us, God made me as we are, gay or straight. Why is it so difficult to accept people as they are?
