Victoria Beckham turns detective

Victoria Beckham gave Sherlock Holmes a sexy, modern makeover yesterday as she turned detective at Heathrow airport.

On the way to London, Posh rocked biker chic in a Belstaff leather jacket, but it seems she was affected by her trip on home turf, and left looking more British than when she arrived in a detective-style ensemble.

Victoria donned a fab belted, felt Stella McCartney coat as she prepared to head back to America, which she teamed with we-want-them-now suede Christian Louboutin ankle boots, a mushroom-coloured Hermés tote, and a tartan-trimmed trilby hat.

What with two Sherlock Holmes movies in the making – most notably Guy Ritchie's version, currently in production and starring Robert Downey Jnr and Jude Law – savvy Ms Beckham obviously knows that detective-chic is bound to be the next big thing, and, as usual, is getting in on the act before everyone else does.
