Comeback queen Britney Spears last night joined queen of pop Madonna for a sizzling performance during her Sticky & Sweet tour.

The music megastars – who once drove crowds wild by snogging each other at the MTV Awards in 2003 – joined forces again last night as they took to the stage for Madge's LA gig at the Dodgers Stadium.

Britney – who looked on top form in a fitted white shirt and satin balloon pants - even opened the show with the Material Girl, singing a duet of Human Nature, a track from Madonna's sixth album, Bedtime Stories.

The Toxic singer last night also picked up two gongs at the MTV Europe Music Awards – Best Album of the Year for Blackout and Best Act of 2008. Looks like her comeback career is really taking off.
