Britney shows off new album cover

Marie Claire celebrity pictures: Britney Spears album cover, Circus

Britney Spears has unveiled her new album cover.

Currently riding high at the top of the US charts with her comeback single Womanizer, Britney finally released the artwork for the album, Circus, at the weekend.

'Woohoo!! The moment we've been waiting for is here,' Traci from 'Team Britney' wrote on the star's official website. 'Of course, Britney's album Circus doesn't drop until December 2, but the cover and tracklist are out - and I'm soo excited!'

Looking, ahem, 'cuter' than we've seen her in some time, the cover shows Britney playing up to her softer side – a stark change from Womanizer when she spends half of the video in a latex vest and the other half, well, starkers.

Love or loath the cover? (Or do you even care?) Leave your thoughts below…

I wish I could borrow her photographer, make up team and airbrush artist to take a few snaps of me ;-)

She can than God for airbrushing...

Is this a photo? If so, it's been airbrushed beyond recognition. If a painting, then a lot of 'artistic license' has gone into it!

She looks gorgeous but maybe a bit too airbrushed!! Not too sure about the outfit either!

I loveeeee Britney's new song Womanizer!! And this cover totally rocks! It's like Britney's going back to basic - starting off anew after all that she's gone through. And I simply love the simplicity of the cover - natural colours; I mean it might not look that glamorous but the simplicity wins my heart away..Lol.. I just love it. As simple as that ^-^

Its supposed to be obviously airbrushed, thats the whole point! Its like an old-fashioned romanticised take shown by the classic circus writing. Love her
