Britney Halloween fun with sons

She's had a horror of a year herself, but that didn't stop Britney Spears treating her sons to some Halloween fun at Mr Bones' Pumpkin Patch in LA.

The singer looked happy and relaxed as she helped her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, pick out pumpkins from the patch, which has attracted hordes of celebrities on family days out over the last couple of weeks, including Heidi Klum ad Gwen Stefani.

Dressed in a stripy nautical-inspired top and jeans, Britney looked to be in great shape, but it was her super-cute boys in their matching outfits who really stole the show.

The 26-year-old was no doubt feeling relieved at recent news that her trial for charges of driving without a license was dismissed earlier this week, after the jury couldn't reach a verdict.

The charges relate to an August 2007 incident when Britney allegedly hit a parked car and was found to not be in possession of a California state driving licence.

But Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James A. Steele dismissed the misdemeanour charges against the singer after the 12 jurors couldn't agree over the case.

And it certainly looked like Britney had a weight off her shoulders.
