Tom and Katie moving to New York?
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes could be making a permanent move to New York, if the rumour mill Stateside is to be believed.
The A-list pair has been spotted looking and reportedly buying property in the East Village. According to the New York Post, the power couple are buying up lofts in a 12-storey building just south of 14th Street in Manhattan.
TomKat's NYC neighbour told the newspaper: 'Tom and Katie now keep five units in the building. They turned one into Suri's playroom. One they use for a gum, and two apartments are for staff.'
Katie is currently treading the boards on Broadway in a revival of Arthur Miller's play All My Sons and since the family brought their Hollywood lifestyle to Manhattan, they appear to be happy laying down roots there.
A wily Tom bought a 10th-floor unit in the block back in 1985 and has held onto the space ever since. And now the star is turning property magnet, it seems he can turn one whole apartment over to two-year-old Suri's playpen.
The source added: 'In the past couple of months they've bought up all these other apartments. Tom is seen coming in and out all the time, and he's really friendly to everyone he meets. But Katie just kind of keeps her head down. Everyone in the neighborhood is buzzing about it.'

Homeless people on the street round the corner and a 2 year old has a zillion dollar apartment as a playpen??? What is wrong with these people, none of them can spend all thewir money in their lifetime anyway! Here are some useful links Tom WWF, WSPA, Dogs Trust, RSPCB, Born Free Foundation, The Gorilla Trust and Oxfam. Go on, let your 2 year old learn the meaning of the word 'useful' and help her save an animal or a person instead of turning her into yet another pointless, spoiled, over indulged Hollywood brat.
