Britney Spears' new custody hopes

Britney Spears is planning to quit LA and take her children back to live with her in Louisiana, according to new reports.

According to the Mirror, the singer is planning to fight ex-husband Kevin Federline to get back full custody of her sons, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.

Britney's dad, Jamie, revealed the plans in court when he was representing his daughter over a driving offence.

He indicated that Britney is only in LA to be close to her sons, who live with Federline, and that she is already building a family home in Louisiana.

He said: 'Louisiana is her home. She was born and raised there. We plan to move back when we can travel with the kids.'

But, reports suggest, she would have a huge fight on her hands from Federline. A source told the Mirror: 'Kevin will be devastated if she wins full custody.'

Britney has made a seemingly remarkable recovery since suffering a breakdown earlier this year, and her latest single, Womanizer, broke records last week when it jumped from no. 96 to no.1 in the US charts.
