Anne Hathaway wows at premiere

Anne Hathaway lit up the red carpet last night in a scene-stealing blue dress at the premiere of her latest movie, Rachel Getting Married, at the London Film Festival.

The Devil Wears Prada actress looked every inch the Hollywood star in her midnight-blue and purple strapless number, which she accessorised with a statement cuff and tousled curls.

The new movie, which sees Hathaway play a model emerge from rehab to attend her older sister's wedding, whipped up an Oscar buzz for her performance at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.

Anne described the role as an opportunity of a lifetime, but played down rumours of awards, saying: 'It's really cool, but it's a little premature to get excited about it.'

She added: 'I actually did something that I'm proud of, where all of the intentions I had for the character made it to the screen.

'For me, it's a recognition of my dreams, this role.

'I'm really excited that with this movie I feel like I've earned that title. I've certainly been striving to earn it since Princess Diaries.'

Anne hit the headlines when, just weeks after they split, her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was arrested and pleaded guilty to fraud.

But the star has bounced back and told the Daily Mail that she has her eye on another man. She revealed: 'This guy I know in LA is kind of really doing it for me right now... I'm totally single right now, but I happened to meet a sexy guy the other day.'

Looks like things are looking up for Ms Hathaway…
