Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are rekindling their romance, according to rumours from the US.

The picture-perfect pair were spotted kissing in LA on Monday after they arrived together on a private plane, reports the National Enquirer.

Jen and John split in August after a three-month affair, with John citing not-quite-right chemistry as the reason behind the break-up.

But it now seems the couple could be giving it another go.

An insider told the paper: 'They were very lovey-dovey. They kissed several times and hugged each other tightly.

'John gave her a long, lingering kiss.'

Once they landed, the actress and singer went their separate ways, so was this just a case of old friends sharing a plane together (as you do)? Or was it lovers re-fuelling the flame?

The source added: 'Jennifer was in New York doing some shopping before she starts promotional work for her new movies, He’s Just Not That Into You and Marley And Me.

'John was relaxing after finishing his international tour, and they hooked up.'

The 'Friends' spent time together in New York, before flying to LA, where, onlookers say, they looked every inch the couple they once were.
