Victoria Beckham new beauty secret

Victoria and David Beckham, it seems, have been harbouring a dirty little beauty secret: they swear by a cream containing bird poo.

Victoria has had a well-documented battle with her complexion over the years, but puts her new crystal-clear skin down to a new miracle beauty ingredient: nightingale poo.

The former Spice Girl has been regularly indulging in £100 Geisha Facials, which use a paste made from nightingale droppings.

A friend told Closer magazine: ‘When Victoria was in Japan recently she was admiring the local women’s clear skin and discovered it was down to these facials.

'She was intrigued and when she got back to the US she found that some New York beauty salons now offer the treatment.

'She tried it and loved how great her skin looked. She also uses a cream derived from nightingale poo at home.’

And, the magazine reports, so does David, who reportedly slips on a moisturising poo mask before bed.

Bet he won’t get a ribbing from fellow footie players over that sticky story…
