Minnie Driver baby pics

Minnie Driver has eschewed the usual celebrity route of striking a big-bucks deal with a glossy magazine for her first baby photos – and posted them on MySpace instead.

The refreshingly down-to-earth new mum revealed the first images of Henry Story Driver on her page on the social networking site, and shows the cute new tot snuggling cosily on her chest.

Minnie gave birth to her son on 8 September, and he weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 12oz.

Driver has so far declined to name the baby’s father, but denied reports that it was Craig Zolezzi, a San Francisco musician.

The decision to publish the pics on MySpace instead of in a magazine could have cost the actress a Minnie fortune, considering that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt raked in £7.5 million for pics of their newborn twins (all for charity, mind you), while Jennifer Lopez bagged £3 million from People magazine for exclusive pics of her twins.

Other stars who have shunned the big-budget baby deals are Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry.

good on her (not selling her baby photos - Minnie); on the other hand it's a shame they don't sell for charity - she doesn't have to keep the 'dosh'. Baby looks cute.
