Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson have put their failed Bond theme duet behind them – and are gearing up to collaborate on a new song together.

The talented pair are teaming up again to record a track for a tribute album for Quincy Jones, according to the Daily Mirror.

The music maestros haven't recorded together since Amy stormed out while they were attempting to record the theme tune to the Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.

The title song was consequently created by Alicia Keyes and Jack White, leaving a rather bitter taste in the air.

But now Ronson – who produced Amy's hit album Back to Black – is putting the past behind him and getting involved with the Quincy tribute.

A source told the Mirror: ' It's going to be explosive stuff.

'Amy first met Quincy backstage at the Nelson Mandela gig in Hyde Park in June.

'He knew who she was and she was so thrilled to meet him. Her performance clearly impressed him - he was raving about her. This is just the opportunity she needs to show the world she has still got it.'

Mark and Amy join other big-name music stars in creating songs for the album, including Mariah Carey, Usher and John Mayer.

Hopefully it will be just what Amy needs to get her back on track.

I've got to say, I never even heard about their theme tune... I guess that's what happens when you become more famous for partying and drugs than your 'talent'.
