Cheryl Cole has told how her plans to have a baby were wrecked when husband Ashley Cole cheated on her – but she’s ready to start a family now.

The X Factor judge admitted she was ready to tour while pregnant before claims Ashley cheated on her with a hairdresser emerged.

She said: ‘I was really broody. I’d see children and think, that’s me, I’m ready.’

Her baby plans were put on ice when the infidelity revelations came to light, but the couple have decided to try and make their marriage work, and so Cheryl’s plans have got the go-ahead again.

In the new Girls Aloud book, Dreams that Glitter, serialised in OK! magazine, the gorgeous singer says she is ‘more ready than ever’ to have children, adding: ‘I can’t see my future without children.

‘These days, there’s no reason why you can’t have a family and a career. I want a big family and that means I have to make a start soon – so watch this space.’

I hope Cheryl has really gotten over Ashley's infidelity. Having a baby will just be papering over the cracks in the marriage unless she is ready to forgive & wipe the slate clean. She should not have a baby until she is 100% sure that she can get her marriage back on track & finally trust him again. She's a very strong lady to take him back

I think Cheryl is more than ready and if she thinks she should she should theres nothing wrong with that if she's forgiven Ashley now then go ahead
