Britney and Kevin reuniting?

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are set to undergo couple’s counselling in a bid to make their relationship work, if US reports are to be believed.

According to the National Enquirer, Britney and her former husband Kevin are undergoing relationship counselling in the hope they can raise their two sons as a family.

‘Part of their therapy involves going on formal dates and Britney is so excited,' a source told the magazine. 'She's never stopped loving Kevin or hoping they'd get back together.

'Kevin still loves Britney, too, and if all goes well after six months of counselling they'll move back in together with the boys.'

Britney and Kevin’s three-year marriage ended in a bitter divorce battle last July, followed by a custody battle, which saw Britney lose her sons, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two.

But friends say things have changed in the last few months – and Kevin and Britney are keen to get the family back together.

The source said: ‘Kevin's always believed it would be best for the boys to be raised by both parents, and he and Jamie [Britney's dad] spent weeks looking for a counsellor who suited both his and Britney's personalities and could come to their homes.'

Meanwhile, Britney appears to be trying to put her troubled past behind her – and has put her six-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills on the market for £4 million ($7.9 million), according to the Daily Mail.

The Toxic singer has lived in the hilltop home for less than two years, and had to leave it twice to be forcibly hospitalised.

Britney is now on the lookout for a new home in LA with ‘more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys’.

After her success at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Britney picked up three Moonmen - the singer is preparing for a huge comeback, with a new single, Womanizer, and new album, Circus, slated for release on 2 December.
