Daisy Lowe's mum has revealed the truth behind her daughter's split from Mark Ronson.

Denying the involvement of anyone else, Pearl Lowe told Hello! Magazine this week, 'No one else was involved in their break-up. They decided things weren't working out so they called it a day. It was a sad but mature decision but they've decided to stay close friends.'

Pearl also quashed rumours that Dasiy had recently been staying with he ex, commenting, 'She always stays with her mother when she's in London. To suggest she went anywhere else would be wrong and it's also upsetting.'

She added, 'She wouldn't want to hurt Mark in any way.'

Daisy and Mark ended their relationship two weeks ago, amidst rumours that the 13-year age gap was too much of an issue.

Pearl ended by revealing that that there is now only one man in her daughter's life - her new puppy Monty, who she is 'besotted' with.
