SATC party reunites cast

The Sex and the City girls were back together last night, to celebrate the film's DVD launch.

Minus Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall took to the red carpet together, for the first time since the film premiered in May.

Having an Audrey Hepburn moment, SJP went for classic chic, in a black shift dress, and debuting a new short fringe with her bouffant up-do. The look was immediately reminiscent of Hepburn in the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany's. In a fashion move that would make Carrie proud, she added a pair of hot pink peep-toes to complete the look, although we're not so keen on the elbow-length sheer black gloves.

Back in Samantha mode, the ever-youthful Kim Cattrall teamed her sombre trouser suit with a plunging metallic top.

As for Cynthia Nixon, she stuck to her signature classic style, in an oyster satin belted dress with co-ordinating accessories and a sweeping up-do.

The girls were joined by many of their co-stars, including Willie Garson, Mario Cantone, and even Lynn Cohen, who played Magda.

For fans of the film, the wait is almost over, as the DVD is released in the UK on Monday.
