Robbie Wiliams has put his career before love - and split from his Angel, Ayda Field, according to reports.

The former Take That star is so busy working on his new album, he reportedly doesn't have enough time to devote to his girlfriend of 14 months, Ayda.

According to the Sun, an insider said: 'He thought Ayda was his soulmate, so he was desperate for it to work.

'Unfortunately, the timing was not right for them and after being on-off for a while they've finally decided to call it quits.

'Robbie is dead serious about his music. It's his number one focus.'

The singer is said to want to remedy the disaster that was his 2006 album, Rudebox.

But, it seems, he has lost Ayda - who has starred in hit US shows Will & Grace and Days of Our Lives - in the process.

Why doesn't he just call it a day in the music industry instead of dragging it out. I love him dearly, he is my idol, but he can't go on being so indecisive about everything. The worst synario would be his next albumn flopped and then how would he feel. Live your life Rob xxxx
