Tropic Thunder UK premiere

Tropic Thunder broke in Leicester Square last night, as the premiere of the new Ben Stiller movie hit London.



Ben and his A-list co-stars, Robert Downey Jnr and Jack Black, hit the red carpet for the premiere of the new movie about a group of egotistical actors shooting a war film in the jungle.



In his usual, quirky style, Jack Black donned a lightning-print suit - 'I put it through the dry cleaners and it looks like bird crap', he told reporters - while it seemed Ben Stiller had been hitting the bottle - of Just For Men. The actor - who also directed the new movie - showed off a full head of rich dark hair, in contrast to his salt-and-pepper look of last year.



Of his new movie, Stiller said: 'I knew that we were taking some risks but now I think it is just a really funny movie and we offended everyone so no one should be offended.'



The film, which is currently No. 1 at the American box office, also sees Tom Cruise play a foul, bald-headed, hard-nosed producer in a cameo role, which he took on as a favour to his pal Stiller.
