How to get into ...

Britney Spears Christmas album?

Britney Spears at the MTV Video Music Awards

Britney Spears is gearing up to release an album in time for Christmas, thanks to her improving health and still-huge popularity, according to reports.

The last two years have seen Britney go through immense personal trauma, including shaving her head, a bitter divorce battle, losing custody of her children and, ultimately, being hospitalised in a psychiatric ward.

Her increasing ill-health left industry bigwigs concerned about the future of her career, but a fantastic comeback appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards – where Britney shone in Versace and picked up three awards – have left bosses so impressed, they’re hoping to release an album for Christmas.

One source told The Sun: ‘Britney’s last album, Blackout, was released in the middle of her meltdown and carried negative associations.

‘It did OK but wasn’t as big as her previous releases. Label chiefs vowed her private life would never be allowed to overshadow her career again.

‘However, they’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together.’

Britney has reportedly been working on songs back-to-back for the last few months, being a regular face in the studio.

And now, plans are in the making for a single release in November, followed by an album launch in December, supported by high-impact live shows and performances.

We, for one, hope it’s a runaway success…

Britney is doing great.
We should all pray for her and support her and the entire Spears family.

Very happy to see Britney doing well again I used to love her when I was younger and looked at her as a role model... very pleased that she could hopefully represent that to the next generation. Good Luck Britney xxx

I think that what the Britney Spears story proves is that, at the end of the day, family is more important than anything and they will come up trumps when the going gets tough. Many quite dysfunctional families, like the Spears, like mine, love each other and stick together and should not be looked down upon because they've got their problems. Stay happy Britney, you're a very likeable and loveable young lady and you just have the BEST SMILE!

Really glad to see she's well on the way to recovery. It's obvious now that with the support of her family she's managing to turn things around. I'm a fan and hope she keeps going down this more positive road and in future she can have more success and get her boys back on a more permanent basis.
