Want the new Victoria Beckham hair style? You’d better book a ticket to New York, where celebrity hairstylist, Garren, crafted Posh’s new pixie hair cut.

The celebrity scissorhands has revealed he drew inspiration from two of his past clients: Audrey Hepburn and Mia Farrow.

The acclaimed stylist also said he was inspired by Posh’s face shape and striking features, including those huge chocolate-brown eyes.

‘It was clear that we had to go short and create a new look that embraced her beauty, great personality and body,’ he told Perez Hilton.

Posh was in safe hands when she chose Garren to create her Halle Berry-style pixie crop: it isn’t the first time he’s chopped off a celebrity’s locks. The stylist created Audrey Hepburn’s gorgeous gamine look, along with Linda Evangelista’s famous cropped ‘do, and Mia Farrow’s so-cute short hairstyle in Roman Polanski’s 1968 movie, Rosemary’s Baby, which directly influenced the modern-day version on Victoria.

Yeah I agree it is only a haircut, watch how many will be going to hairdressers asking for posh,s new hairstyle! But not going to America for it lol. This style has been out for years, what's the big deal?

She looks great, OK, it's not ground breaking that someone has a new haircut, but it doesn't harm anyone and is a bit of light relief to all the depressing news we usually get. Great eye make up as well!!

Uhhh hello, this is just a haircut that a lot of little boys get when they aren't bothered bout how they look.
It makes me laugh when celebs pay so much to have such crappy haircuts and everyones like "wow, its so amazing.
Why not just spend £5 on a taxi to go downtown and have a rat chew your hair off for free?

To read the press reports you'd think nobody had ever had a short haircut before ....... and now everyone with short hair will be labelled with copying Mrs Beckham. I'm really not sure why it's regarded as so newsworthy. It's a great cut, but it's not new and it most definitely does not "belong" to her! Please please please let's NOT start calling it "the pop" or something equally stupid.

I am with you there V! I had to have my head shaved for surgery and I love my new short hair...how come no one cares about my super short do? It looks EXACTLY like Victoria's and I had it first!! And it wasnt cut by some overpaid "stylist!"

I think VB just looks fantastic and I have to thank her!! Her new short hair do couldn't have come at a better time for me!! I have recently had to shave my head due to cancer treatment and I HATED my short hair!! But VB has made short hair sexy and I thank her for making me feel a little more comfortable with my new look. x
