Victoria Beckham was the talk of the town last night as she unveiled a shock new cropped hair style at New York Fashion Week.

The star has ditched the ‘Pob’ in favour of a ‘Short, Beck and Sides’ – and showed off her daring crop at the Marc Jacobs catwalk show.

And not only has La Beckham gone for the chop, she’s also ditched the mousy brown colour and opted for a sumptuous, rich chocolate-brown hue.

Posh sat next to Jennifer Lopez at the prestigious show, and the Latin star also looked fantastic in a chic cream shift dress.

It was a big day for Victoria: not only did she unveil a drastic new hair style, she also launched her first collection of dresses.

She described the move as a ‘dream of a lifetime’, saying: ‘I know I have a lot to learn, but over the years I think I have worked out how women want to look.

'I’ve been working on this for 34 years. I always wanted to be a fashion designer. Then along came the Spice Girls, which opened a lot of doors for me. And, let's be honest, closed a lot.

'But those days are over. I was never going to be the world’s best singer, but I hope I can be a good designer.’

Her hair looks great, it's so unfair that she suits every hairstyle! Don't know about her being a fashion designer though...

Victoria always looks stylish and beautiful. She is also beautiful inside and radiates love when with David and her boys. It's more important than slavishly dieting to "fit in" - she looks great but a few more pounds on her bones would make her even prettier.

Not sure about the 'pixie' do, I think it makes her look older. I think she suited the bob better.

She looks absolutely amazing. Don't agree that it makes her look older - quite the opposite - she looks younger and fresher. I'm not a big Victoria fan but I think she really looks great!

Not a fan at all, its very young boy looking and makes her forehead look massive. Shame she looked so much more womanly before. I don't think her fashion is stylish or practical.... leave this to the well trained designers Victoria and go spend more time with your family.

I think it should be called THE "PAUDREY" CUT.
I think it's cute ...a little getting used to...she's getting more classy mom like...I guess start a fresh new do ...cut all the old out.

I think Victoria Beckham's new hair cut is dreadful. Her face is horribly angular, and the cut just makes her look even more ugly than usual.

Well it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the only way to even out long on one side or both and short in the back would have to be eventually corrected and the only way....duh...the pixie..I am ahead of the game had my pixie about 6 weeks ago....
