Jennifer Aniston/Woody Allen lunch

Jennifer Aniston doesn't appear to be brooding over her split with John Mayer; despite rumours to the contrary, the former Friend is concentrating on getting her career back on track and was yesterday seen lunching with Woody Allen.

Mindful a hit movie might stop the gossips concentrating on her doomed love life, Jen met lauded film director Allen at Hollywood hotspot Madeo.

No news on what they were talking about, but their meeting won't have gone unnoticed by studios in Tinsel Town who'd like nothing better than an Aniston/Allen hook-up.

It hasn't been the best of weeks for Jennifer who, after splitting from singer Mayer, had to suffer the indignity of him telling paparazzi outside his gym that he'd ended the relationship because 'people have different chemistry'.

Friends claim Aniston can't quite believe Mayer has broken the unwritten celebrity code and spoken out about their relationship, but is determined not to stoop to his level and will be keeping her side of the story to herself.
