Madonna's backstage tour tips
Since Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour kicked off at the weekend, everyone has been marvelling at what amazing shape the Queen of Pop is in.
It appears Madge is looking after herself more than ever after hitting the milestone 50th birthday ten days ago and her rep and long-term friend, Liz Rosenberg has confirmed that the singer is working harder than ever.
'The harder Madonna work the happier she is,' says Rosenberg. 'Because she was a dancer, that's why. It's practice, practice, practice.'
According to Rosenberg, the atmosphere backstage ahead of Madonna's shows has been relaxed and stress-free. The singer has a kids play room next to her dressing room so she can look in on Lourdres, Rocco and David. Daughter Lourdes often watches her mum from the wings on stage: 'She is quite casual about it, she can take it or leave it,' says Rosenberg.
Ahead of Madonna's opening night in Cardiff she had a massage and a facial and has spent an hour in hair and make-up before performing each show. Once she's looking the part, the singer warms up her vocal chords with some singing exercises and warms up her body with some gentle weight lifting.
Rosenberg quashed any circling rumours of marital strife between Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie saying the film director 'absolutely' supports his wife from backstage. 'Guy understood who he was marrying and they have a whole separate life [away from the spotlight]'.

I was in Cardiff and Madonna definitely looked amazing. As Guy said in an interview at the weekend "her legs are Olympic standard" The show was awesome and worth every penny. Madonna is a role model to all - she demonstrates just what hard work can do and those who knock her - well...jealousy springs to mind! She never loses her aura and just keeps getting better and better. Long live the Queen!

I don't deny she looks good for 50 - but then she has the money, the time and the extra house converted to a living gym! But I still think she acts smutty with her poses, and I bet she touches her crotch like Michael Jackson! What is it with that action? Does it sell more cds? I just feel she's bad influence on her kids especially, how can she defend their action when they start imitating her? What is she going to say then? Behave? No - I may listen to her music on radio but I have never bought her cds.
