Jamie Lynn Spears has gone to stay with her mum after revelations that her fiancé Casey Aldridge has had an affair.

The new 17-year-old mum took her two-month-old daughter, Maddie Brian, from the couple's home in Mississippi to mother Lynne's house 30 miles away in Louisiana, following the news that Casey had been having an affair with 28-year-old Kelli Dawson.

Pictured out yesterday with her mum, Jamie was still wearing the engagement ring given to her by Aldridge just three months before she gave birth.

The couple, who have been dating for two years, were planning to wed this year, but the relationship has been rocked by Kelli's revelations. She told America's InTouch Weekly magazine she had been dating Casey since November 2006, and had still been seeing him when Jamie Lynn was six months pregnant with Maddie - the same month he proposed.

She told the magazine: 'I see him all the time, at least once a week.' But she claims she stopped sleeping with Casey towards the end of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy, adding: 'It just didn’t feel right. He had to deal with the baby coming, and it had to stop.'

Casey denies the claims and has accused Kelli of fabricating the story to make money.

But fellow Kentwood resident – and Jamie's sister Britney Spears' ex-husband – Jason Alexander – supports Kelli's claims.

He said: 'Kelli and Casey have been a couple on and off for a few years.

'They were a really tight couple, but I think it was hard for Kelli, having Jamie Lynn in the picture.'

Pray? Youngsters don't know what relationships are! Before they've even kissed they're pregnant - the woman anyway - or the young, inexperienced girl - they always carry the stigma - my mum used to tell me years ago - the woman should always exercise control - once a man is aroused it's up to the woman to say stop - men are always whiter than white - anyway youngsters now are the throwaway society - get them, dump them and move on! In 40 years' time we'll have tattooed old women, running around with rusty piercings on saggy faces, it's a good job I won't be around!

Married at 17?! I'm sorry but I think that that is a real recipe for disaster! No matter how mature she might think she is, and even though she is a young mother, it will take another couple of years for a teenager to know what she really wants. Just because there's a baby in the picture, doesn't mean that she has to get married and fast!

Good Luck with your life Jamie Lynn. I am a great fan of your sister but i rather think you should learn from her mistakes!

Pray for them? Messing around while he has a pregnant girlfriend -yukkk!!
I just feel for the child. Just wish she hadn't had the child. Too many children are born from a mistake and grow up without a normal family around them - meaning a mother and father. Young girls think of it as all rosy and it's like playing with dolls really. She must regret it a bit now though. She is far too young to screw up her life and a child's too. She didn't learn from her sister's troublesome time with marriage n children did she.

I cannot believe men! Casey, you ought to see a doctor - not just for STDs. Put yourself onto those girls shoes and think. How could you put them through so much emotional pain just for your own ego's sake? Nice example for your child hey?! I know what I would think if my dad had done that to my mum.
