Britney Spears is set to team up with her former flame, Justin Timberlake, to record a new single for her new album, according to US reports.

The pop star is reportedly in the midst of preparing for a wow-factor comeback and, according to the New York Post, getting Justin on board is part of the plan.

The pair dated for four years and split in 2002. But they'll reportedly be reuniting for a track for Britney's next album, which is due at the end of the year.

According to the paper, the former couple were supposed to team up for her last album, but the troubled star failed to turn up for the recording session with mega music producer, Timbaland.

'She just didn't show up,' one source said.

The news of a duet with Justin Timberlake comes as Britney is embarking on a strict exercise and diet plan to get back in shape. She even appears on the cover of the latest American OK! magazine in a swimsuit, and reveals the diet secrets getting her back on track.

I think that Britney Spears as done so well, after everything she as been through. Shes picked her self back up again which is great! she looks great too! As for her singing career its good that she is doing a duet with justin Timberlake. Because i think its going to be some HOT HITS going on!
