Jade Goody has cancer

Any cancer diagnosis is shocking; I should know having lost a close relative, some friends to it and with my mum a survivor. Why on earth did such a critical issue get turned to a media opportunity? One would have thought that her Doctor, her PR guru and the organisers of BB India would have ensured that this information is provided to her in confidence.... but hey, any publicity is good publicity.
The media information seems to be conflicting; however, I wish her all the best, especially for her sons' sakes too.

I remember about 18 months ago my husband was waiting for tests of a biopsy to find out if he had cancer. I looked at the magazines in a store, one headline was Jades fantastic diet, and the other was she thought she had cancer. I thought at the time , what a wicked way to get publicity. She should think now, she might get what you wish for....

Jade has caused some controversy since becoming a celeb on Big Brother, not all called for. No one deserves any form of cancer and I hope she recovers.

What the big deal about Jade goody having cervix cancer. What about the many women who are told they have the same condition. Jade will not have to worry about the NHS lottery. She be seen by a private hospital.

May I be so bold to say that for anyone, however they became famous to recieve that kind of information on a reality show is wrong! I enjoy reality shows and have nothing against them generally, but Jade is a human being, with family, friends, and children who love and need her and deserves privacy and all our prayers and best wishes at this horrible time.

Yes, it is a serious disease, one of my sisters in law died of it , well it started there, then spread in her body, BUT if I am correct I have just read on TV or in a newspaper article that Jade Goody went to India knowing fully well that she was having the cancer tests and the article states that she went there to " FINANCE "her treatement, so I say : sorry but not sorry, she has again manipulated the crowd and the Press to her advantage, everybody would think she was not able to afford her treatment with all the millions she has accumulated already!

I am shocked by the unfeeling comments made. We should all show our support to a fellow human being - have none of us ever made a mistake??

I have read a number of different media sources on this story and can't believe people are so awful. A publicity stunt it may look like, however if Jade went for a routine smear and then got a call back, she isn't going to put her life on hold until the results, the rest of the women in the world can't you have to deal with the results once you get them. Well done Jade for carrying on with her life, I hope it all works out for her - even if she does have the money to sort it out quicker than the rest of us. To all those that say awful things....grow up!

I wish jade a speedy recovery, and pray that all the cancer has been removed. I have always like jade from the minute she appeared on our screens, and having gone through something similar I know how upsetting this can be, my prayers are with jade and her family xx

Jade I wish you all the best & know exactly how you feel & what you are going through. I was 39 when I was given the same news as you. Keep strong & happy & you can beat this.
