Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been dumped by her musician boyfriend, John Mayer.

Reports have surfaced that unlucky-in-love Jennifer is single again after the pair split earlier this week, following a trial separation.

A source who spoke to The Mirror revealed: 'There's been a bit of tension for some time. They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked.'

The shock news follows reports last week that the pair were set to move in together and that marriage was on the cards.

However, it seems things were moving too quickly for the rock singer. The source continued: 'John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn't ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved.'

'Contrary to reports, Jen didn't want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.

'She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children.

'Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she's simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken.'

Maybe, although she seems to be a lovely person, from what we know of her on screen, she could be a pretty boring person which leads to her constant failure in relationships. Anyway, leave her alone, who cares who she is dating?

From what I'd read in various press I'm not the least surprised this boy has apparently called time on the relationship. He's been described as a party boy whose longest relationship was 2 weeks, and who used his musical career to pick up girls. Now that he's raised his profile by dating Jennifer Aniston he's dumping her.
I think she's better off without him.

I feel so sorry for Jen. Brad Pitt really did the dirty on her and she has had no luck since then. I really hope she finds true love soon.

Jen seems to have an air of desperation. Having recently been dumped by my boyfriend I would advise her to relax and wait for men to come to her....Get out and enjoy herself but don't seem so needy. Making a guy move in with you after a couple of months of relationship is not the best thing to do....

Saz?? I am reading all the articles as I would normally do if I have time off and am checking my emails. I don't care who she dates, but I wanted to pass my opinion on "fabulous celebrities" supposedly having fabulous lives and posing the possibility to anyone of her being BORING company. I'm sure she's not the only one either. The public in general often think these people have perfect lives and they clearly don't.
