Nicole Kidman: 'Sunday looks like Keith'

Nicole Kidman has spoken for the first time about newborn daughter, Sunday Rose – and reveals that she looks just like her dad.

In a radio interview on Australia's Jackie O Show, Kidman said: 'She looks like Keith.' But, she revealed, the one-month-old also has mum's tell-tale red locks. 'She's got a little bit of hair…It has a reddish tinge.'

Kidman and Keith arrived in Australia on Wednesday to introduce little Sunday to her grandparents. 'My Mum was there with me for the birth but my Dad hasn't met her and Keith's mum and dad are coming down,' the actress revealed.

Kidman also took the opportunity to ask the press to be a bit more restrained around her daughter. She said: 'Keith and I are also just appealing to the press and stuff to give us a little space so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town. Just a little bit because she’s tiny, she’s not a doll, she’s a real little thing. Just not right in our face or her face because it’s scary for her, she’s tiny. A tiny little thing.'

And Keith, who described his little girl as 'just awesome', also piped up: 'I get the interest in it, I get that but at the same time, it’s our little girl and I think sometimes when people come right up in our face, "Good god, would you do that to anybody else’s child?" That’s all. We’re very pleased to be back and we’ve got our little four-weeker with us.'

The country singer also added that he's blown away by being a new dad, saying: 'Anybody out there who has kids knows, it’s just a certain type of feeling you can only experience when you do it - but we’re just stoked, she’s awesome.'
