It was a glamorous affair at the premiere of Woody Allen's new movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, in LA last night.

Bringing a high-dose of A-list style, Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek all wowed in stunning eveningwear.

Scarlett, who plays the film's namesake Cristina, made a striking lady in red, in a full-length gown, accessorised by a multi-pendant necklace and old-school ringlet curls. This is the actress's third film with Allen, and she has become a muse to the director for his recent work.

Her co-star, Penelope, was simply stunning in a plunging midnight blue gown, topped off perfectly with soft smoky eyes. She was joined by the film's leading man, and her real-life love interest, Javier Bardem, although the pair were careful not to be photographed together on the red carpet.

Salma, a close friend of Cruz, looked amazing, showing off her gravity-defying post-pregnancy curves in a sweet ice-blue mini dress.
