SJP escapes affair rumours

Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick have fled to their holiday home in the Hamptons to escape rumours the actor cheated on her.

Press reports alleged last month that Broderick had enjoyed an extra-marital affair, and the couple last week took their five-year-old son James Wilke to their posh Hamptons home on Long Island to escape the press attention.

SJP looked relaxed in blue board shorts and a stripy tee as she hit the beach with a pile of beach toys for James.

A source last month alleged 46-year-old Matthew, who's been married to Sarah for 11 years, enjoyed a series of late-night liaisons with a 25-year-old woman while the actress was filming Sex and the City: The Movie.

But a source defended the couple, saying: 'They have never had a conventional marriage, but it works for the two of them.

'Sure they fight like other couples but they love each other and their little boy. They are so private and hate all this silly gossip.'

Before the Sex And The City premiere in May, Parker called her marriage to the actor 'a treacherous train ride'.

She added: 'I'm really lucky that he is the father of my son. But that doesn't mean we always agree on everything.

'I'm happy to be with him regardless, but I'm sure there are many times he wishes he wasn't with me.'

The quiet private ones are always ones to look out for in my opinion. The two of them seem unhappy enough to make negative comments about each other and I think they are only staying together because of their son. Its sad but they are adults and only the two of them can sort it out.

I see SJP has two little boys... hope her husband doesn't do it again. I hope they work it out too... but I hope that they really work it out... they aren't just making nice for the kid... Kids feel that stuff and need authenticity, not just glossed over lies.
I hope they are able to communicate ways to prevent this from happening again...and that he doesn't walk all over her... She probably feels pity for him..not an aphrodisiac for either of them...but who knows?
Its fun to play guessing game when its not our own life, huh? Relieves stress in a way!
