How to get into ...

Angelina for Catwoman

By Carla Bevan  on Tuesday 29 July 2008

Angelina Jolie for St. John

Angelina Jolie is being tipped as Hollywood's next Catwoman.

Brad Pitt's partner may only just have given birth, but she's going to have start shedding that baby weight soon if she wants to fit into the black latex bodysuit made famous by Michelle Pfeiffer (and, later, something of a joke thanks to Halle Berry's badly received Catwoman movie).

Still, with The Dark Knight still at the top of the box office both in the States and UK, Jolie is being heralded as the perfect Batman villain - by the very first Catwoman, no less.

Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the Batman TV series back in the Sixties, says Ange would be perfect for the role.

'Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love,' Julie said.

'She's tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess.'

Come on Angelina you're getting a bit long in the tooth for this sort of role - but then again, I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, from Lara Croft to Catwoman at least none of these roles demand the need for you to act!
An alternative should surely be Kate Beckinsale, she can act, she's beautiful and her bum looks better in latex!

I'm warming up to it, though one never knows the reality of what is essentially, gossip as of this moment.

There's only one Catwoman, and that is Michelle Pfeiffer! But I suppose Angelina wouldn't be too bad
