Marie Claire celebrity news: Katie Holmes new hair-do

What's this? Katie Holmes appears to be channelling a whole new hairstyle of her own: the short Farrah Fawcett.

The star, who's been doing a stint in All My Sons on Broadway, showcased the new 'do as she arrived to film a guest spot for an episode of US TV show Eli Stone in LA.

And the family were all out in force for the occasion. Hubby Tom Cruise brought super-cute Suri along to watch mum at work, and even Katie's own mother turned up to see her daughter in action.

Wonder if she approved of the short Seventies flick?

It actually looks like she's washed her hair, quickly blow dried it but not got round to straightening it. I'm all for waves having curly hair myself, but these waves are just not attractive. On the frizzy side too!
