In what is set to be one of the most explosive tell-all celebrity memoirs of all time, Christopher Ciccone, brother of Madonna, has revealed all on his superstar sister, in a candid memoir.



Extracts published this weekend in the Mail on Sunday, from Ciccone's Life With My Sister Madonna, reveal intimate details of the singer's life, including a blow-by-blow account of her much-guarded wedding to Guy Ritchie.



Describing the nuptials, which Madonna worked so hard to keep private, Christopher spares no detail of the event, which he claims his sister 'blackmailed' him into attending.



Clearly seeing the wedding as the beginning of the end for his relationship with Madonna, Chiccone describes it with disdain, peppering the text with tales of his dislike for Richie, and for his sister when she is with her new husband.



On Richie he describes, 'Guy's pride in his own heterosexuality swells noticeably when he's in the presence of a gay man like me.'



He also bemoans Madonna's strict security rules, saying 'none of the guests is allowed a mobile phone and we are all banned from leaving the castle during the five-day celebrations.'



Few details go without criticism, including Madonna's decision to have Stella McCartney as maid of honour. 'As far as I know, she and Madonna have only just met, yet Madonna has chosen her - not her close friends Ingrid Casares or Gwyneth Paltrow - to be her maid of honour,' he writes, 'Stella designs and makes a free dress - worth £15,000 - especially for Madonna.'



On the gown itself Chiccone describes a 'fitted ivory silk dress.' He reveals that Madonna's daughter Lourdes acted as an 'adorable' flower girl.



Madonna's marriage to Ritchie is clearly viewed by Christopher as the catalyst for the end of his relationship with his sister.



They stop speaking following an explosive argument over decorating. He reiterates the final fax he sent to her that ended all communication.



It read, 'I gave up my life to help make you the evil queen you are today. Fifteen years listening to your bitching, egotistical rantings, mediocre talent and a lack of taste that would stun the ages... You have lost all sense of reality... A little respect was all I ever wanted from you, and you couldn't even manage that.'



Bearing all the hallmarks of an angry sibling's revenge, the book is a bitter account, full of tantalising tales on the superstar singer.

he sounds a tad bitter and twisted if you ask me....the green eyed monster springs to mind...however much you dislike someone surely you should have enough respect to realise that someones private life is just that-private!!!what gives anyone the right to tell all on someones personal life....but i see money exceeds his lack of respect....funny how people succumb to the lowest of the low for money!!!!

I don't have any particular sympathy for either party, it is their fight, although Madonna probably isn't the kind of person most would want as their best friend.

Though I would agree that a person's privacy should be respected, that was clearly not Christopher Ciccone's goal. We could be indignant about that, perhaps even excused for thinking he is motivated purely by greed, but how many of us would be able to resist buying the book or sneaking a read, if we came across it?

So for all the pleasure she has given millions of people; for entertaining and delighting her audiences, all that she's been credited with is a 'mediocre talent'. Her brother's huge talent is manifest how?

I can imagine her being some of those things he said actually. I have always quite liked her but the egotistical bit does tally with comments on her from other people. I don't think she is greatly talented, just like Kylie but the management team behind her n Kylie is obviously excellent. Teen girls buy the most cds and always have done so these two are aimed specifically at that impressionable market. All that money on the wedding n now they have split. It's all about status n who can put on the most lavish n expensive wedding n not the real things that matter.
