The Dark Knight preview

The first five minutes of the eagerly-anticipated new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, has been leaked on to the internet.



It's understood the clip was first shown at Imax cinemas last December and, as furore surrounding the film reaches fever pitch, it's now appeared on the web.







It's evidence that the new movie, directed by Brit Christopher Nolan and starring Heath Ledger as the Joker, is set to be the darkest Batman movie yet.



The clip introduces Heath's Joker character, and sees masked robbers staging an ambitious bank heist.



The movie also stars Gary Oldman, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Christian Bale as Batman.
