Amy Winehouse lashes out at fan

Amy Winehouse will not face an investigation after she punched a fan in the audience at her Glastonbury gig on Saturday night, police have said.

The troubled singer, who last week was diagnosed with emphysema, left the Pyramid Stage during her performance of Rehab to take to the pit and greet her fans.

It is unclear whether the reveller agitated Winehouse after grabbing her beehive hairdo or her breasts, but whatever the reason, they certainly got a faceful from the tottering singer.

According to the festival organiser, Michael Eavis, Winehouse was well within her rights: 'The man deserved it. He grabbed Amy's breasts as she went past.'

Despite her recent difficulties, it is thought a record number of people turned out to watch Winehouse perform with one insider revealing there were a record-breaking 100,000 in the audience.
