Madonna and Guy's Kabbalah counselling
Rex Features
Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie have turned to Kabbalah to help them through a rumoured recent rocky patch.
The pair have been having private 'teachings' at their local Kabbalah centre on Oxford Street every Friday night, according to the Daily Mail. The Material Girl and Guy usually undertake their blessings and prayers with separate teachers, but, for the last month, they have been going together.
A source told the paper: 'They are having counselling, which everyone who goes to the Kabbalah has.
'We call them teachings and Guy takes them very seriously, but for a while Madonna stopped going.
'Guy would go to meetings with the children on Friday nights, then Madonna would turn up for the dinner.
'For the past few weeks, though, she has been going for prayers. She and Guy have had joint blessings by her rabbi, Eitan Yardeni, who has been her teacher for many years.
'Guy has another teacher called Marcus Weston who has been really supportive. It really hasnt been an easy time in the Ritchie household.'
Rumours have been rife that the pair's marriage is in trouble, which they have denied, but the couple are set to spend more time apart this summer.
Madonna is embarking on a world tour, and is due to leave for New York in a few days. Guy, meanwhile, is keen to stay in London to promote his new movie RocknRolla, and hang out with friends, sources say.
