Madonna denies divorce rumours

A representative for Madonna.html">Madonna has denied claims the star has called in divorce lawyers.

Rumours yesterday started circulating that Madonna has set up meetings with Nicholas Mostyn QC – the lawyer behind several hard-hitting, high-profile celebrity divorce court cases.

But a representative for the star has denied claims she’s heading for the divorce courts, and labelled the rumours as ‘completely untrue’.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie married in 2000, and the film director became step-father to Lourdes, 11. The couple also have a son, Rocco, nine, together, and adopted two-year-old David Banda.
