Stars of screen, fashion and society descended on Hampton Court Palace this weekend for the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation's Russian Midsummer Fantasy.

With such beautiful weather, it was the perfect weekend for a garden party, and the guests came dressed accordingly.

Mikhail Gorbachev attended the event with daughter Irina Virganskaya and grandaughter Anastasia Virganskaya.

The Hollywood contingency was out in force with Kate Beckinsale shining in a white column dress, and Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Spacey and Orlando Bloom happily posing together for pictures on the Palace's lawn.

Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood were out to represent the fashion world, both in stunning examples of their own designs.

Bono, Mary J. Blige, Emily Blunt, Joely Richardson and Hugh Grant added to the star-studded crowd.
