Mel B for Ultimo

Mel B has persuaded Janet Jackson to perform a duet with her on her forthcoming album.

While the other four Spice Girls have gone back to their various roles as mothers/writers/fashion designers since their tour came to an end, mother-of-two Mel seems determined to get her solo singing career back on track.

'I not scared of having another try,' the former Spice Girl told journalists yesterday.

'I am working with the best producers ever. I am now ten tracks in to my new record. I am doing something with Janet Jackson, which should be amazing. I am also going to hook up with Missy again.'

That's quite a good idea. Janet Jackson is a worldwide super r'n'b and pop star, and Missy has also had good success and gain her title on being the best female rapper to date, so thats some good collaborations.
