Brad Pitt and Maddox enjoy day at races

Big-hearted dad Brad Pitt treated his son Maddox to a day at the races this weekend.



The cute father-and-son duo took a four-hour road-trip from their rented home in the South of France to watch the Mugello motorcycling Grand Prix in Florence, Italy.



‘Brad wanted to go and Maddox was really excited after watching the Monaco Grand Prix the week before on television,’ a source tells E! News.



‘They wanted to go to the Monaco Grand Prix together, but it was so rainy that they cancelled at the last minute.



‘They both had a great time and they met Valentino Rossi after he won.’



The source added: ‘During the race, Brad gave Maddox a pair of sunglasses to protect his eyes and earplugs to protect his ears.



‘But one of the mechanics they met in the pit lane gave Maddox a pair of professional ear protectors to wear, so he was really happy with that.’



Everybody at once, now: ‘Awwww’.
