Before they got together she was a stong, beautiful, talented woman. Now he's controlling her life and she's stopped caring about the way she runs her life, letting him do it for her. I think its sickening. Let's hope that she gets out- along with her daughter, like Nicole Kidman did before she falls completely under his spell.

She has a child now as well to think of - I'm a lapsed Catholic, but even I know that when you're one you have to bring up your children in that faith, my husband was CofE - but he knew where I stood regarding that, I don't understand how classy people like her get taken in!!! I used to be a Tom Cruise fan but now with this scientology stuff (and bad hair cut), am not so keen anymore. Katie is gorgeous and it does seem that only Tom has the "say" in their marriage. He should realize that it's kinda choking her and hopefully she'll have the guts to voice out how she wants to be treated.

Scientology is just another cult...started by a science fiction writer/con artist, no less. There are even letters floating around where he discusses the benefits of starting a religion in order to make money. Its too bad all of these Hollywood types (as well as regular people) have bought into the foolishness.

I would wish for Katie that she'd wake up and get away from this mess before she's totally sucked into the idiot club by that grinning fool of a deluded husband.
