Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri celebrated her second birthday this weekend, but the tot has not been spotted out and about for months.

Although Suri spent the first 18 months of her life as no stranger to the limelight- making her photo debut on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine- she hasn't been seen out with her parents since January this year.

However, the celebrations were clearly in full swing, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

People magazine reports that a four-tier birthday cake was collected from LA bakery Sweet Lady Jane ready for Suri's celebrations.
