Sex And The City movie twist
Cynthia Nixon has revealed that a character will die in the eagerly-anticipated Sex and the City movie.
The actress, who this week revealed to the world that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, has let slip that Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie, is left grief-stricken by devastating events.
Speaking to comedy show Creation Nation Nixon divulged: 'There's a loss that happens that's pretty tough. Something significant happens to Carrie, and it really forces her to ask questions that you have to ask about yourself.'
Sarah Jessica Parker herself admitted that fans of the hit series will be 'shocked' by some of the sombre storylines in the film.
With much speculation over what path the tale will take, this latest news will keep fans guessing as to who might kick the bucket.

Everyone thinks it's Big lol! Ridiculous, i think its her mother. We have yet to be involved with her personal family life. I really really really want King to let us see her mom! I WANT to meet all the girls family's. its the one unrealistic thing about SATC. We've met Charlottes brother (once), Miranda's sister and brother and none from Samantha and Carrie...? whats going on here!? hopefully Michael Patrick wasn't being that stupid to have Big- though i don't want them to end up together. They arn't a good couple, i find it odd for anyone routine for them. whatevs!

Dealing with death makes perfect sense: the 'girls' in SaTC have matured and are encountering real life issues beyond 'which shoes do I wear today?' and was hinted at in the final season when Miranda went through the dementia thing with Steve's Mum... I'm still absolutely *psyched* to see this film!
