Naomi Campbell British Airways ban
Rex Features
British Airways have decided to come down hard on Naomi Campbell for her outburst on one of their planes last week and have banned her from flying with them again.
The supermodel was arrested and removed from an LA-bound plane last Thursday after she allegedly spat at a policeman and screamed abuse at staff when told one of her bags had not made it on to the flight.
The 37-year-old's spokeswoman said: 'Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably.'
But the company is reportedly sticking to its decision. One source explained: 'Banning her will send out a worldwide signal that such behaviour is totally unacceptable.
'The decision was not taken lightly. She is a valued customer. But it is unthinkable for BA to talk about the safety of staff and passengers being our priority, then let her off.
He added: 'Her behaviour was absolutely shocking. She abused our staff and police.'
Naomi was not charged but released on police bail until May over the incident at Heathrow's Terminal 5 last week.

There must be 100s of understandably angry people at T5. Naomi supposedly paid £6 000 for her ticket and the company are not providing the service they were contracted to. I'm not surprised she was upset.Has BA decided to make an example of her because she's famous and stunningly beautiful?

Totally support BA's decision. Her attitude and behaviour is disgusting and it clearly isn't an isolated incident. Plus its a few less bags for BA to lose...
