Kate Moss's £90,000 engagement ring

Every girl wants to have a fabulous, dazzling sparkler, but, it seems, Kate Moss simply couldn't wait for her boyfriend to pull his finger out – and has treated herself to a £90,000 engagement ring.

The model, who is rumoured to be engaged to The Kills rocker Jamie Hince, reportedly purchased her new ring bling last week. According to insiders, Moss snapped up a diamond and platinum band with an Egyptian-themed symbol from London's Garrard store.

One source said: 'Kate is the main breadwinner in this relationship and has paid for her own ring.

'She went to Garrard and looked at its selection and a 'ring visitor' went to her home to show her designs.

'She wants the wedding plans tied up by 1 May.'

It was reported last month that Hince and Moss were planning a gypsy-themed engagement party for the summer with guests including Davinia Taylor, Sadie Frost and Lily Allen.
