Beyoncé and her music mogul boyfriend Jay-Z have reportedly taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York, according to US reports.

A source has revealed the pair obtained a license on Tuesday morning – giving them 60 days to tie the knot, says People magazine.

A rep for Beyoncé refused to comment.

The singing superstar, 26, and 38-year-old rapper Jay-Z have been dating since 2002, but the pair have remained tight-lipped about their romance.

Rumours of their relationship started circulating when Knowles appeared on Jay-Z's song 03 Bonnie & Clyde, followed by their collaboration on her smash-hit single Crazy in Love in 2003.

Beyoncé has spoken in the past about marriage, saying: ''You can't rush a man into anything – whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children.'

Looks like she may not have to wait much longer.
