Cheryl demands public apology

Cheryl Cole has demanded a public apology from her cheating husband Ashley, or else their marriage will be over.



Footballer Cole was revealed to have cheated on his wife with hairdresser Aimee Walton in January, when she sold her story and revealed that he had offered her money for an abortion.



Glamour model, Brooke Healy, also came forward to claim she had slept with Ashley months after his wedding, and that he offered her £6000 to keep quiet.



Now Girls Aloud singer Cheryl has stated that until he admits his infidelity in a statement to the press, then their marriage is over.



A source tells the Daily Mail, 'She wants him to admit his mistake and apologise for the heartbreak...A public apology is the only way he can compensate for all the hurt he has caused her.'



They added, 'But he doesn't want to do it. He still insists it wasn't his fault. He claims he can't remember because he was too drunk.'



The singer is yet to comment on her marriage, although she has been spotted without her wedding ring since the scandal broke.
