Cruise and Holmes to host party for Lopez twins

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are set to throw a lavish $200,000 ‘welcome to the world’ party for Jennifer Lopez’s newborn fraternal twins.

The generous couple are good friends with Jennifer and her husband Marc Anthony, and are said to be delighted for the pair.

One source said: ‘Tom and Katie are thrilled for Jennifer and Marc and have offered to throw a party for the twins next month.’

The party, which is expected to include John Travolta, Eva Longoria and the Beckhams on the guest list, will be blue and pink-themed, in line with her baby boy and girl arrivals.

The source adds: ‘Katie has even organised for children’s entertainers to go along and is setting up a special Playstation games room for them.’

Meanwhile, David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly been getting advice from Tom Cruise about adoption.

The couple - who already have three sons, Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and three-year-old Cruz - are keen to have a daughter and are reportedly considering adopting.?

Tom has two adopted children, a daughter Isabella, 15, and 13-year-old son Connor, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman.

A source said: ‘Victoria definitely wants a girl but she's not sure she wants to go through a fourth pregnancy.’

Perhaps 'wise owl' Tom will help her make a decision.
