Sarah Jessica Parker heads to Broadway

Sarah Jessica Parker is set to tread the boards in New York in hit comedy Boeing Boeing.

The 42-year-old is returning to Broadway after she made her debut there as child in the title role of Annie.

This time around, the Sex and The City star will take on the role of an Italian air hostess in the popular play which is currently playing on the London stage.

SJP will appear in the play at New York's Longacre Theatre from April. The actress is clearly determined to branch out in the roles she takes on after recently saying: 'Everything I've done since Sex and The City ended on TV has been completely different.'

We can't help thinking this is the perfect promotion to get fans into a frenzy over the forthcoming SATC movie, which opens just one month after SJP's theatrical performance.
